Chintakaya Tokku (Tamarind Paste)

Chinthakaya Tokku is a classic South Indian condiment made from tender raw tamarind, known for its sharp tang and rich aroma. Fresh chinthakaya is deseeded, blended with turmeric and salt, and ground into a smooth paste. To enhance the flavor, a perfect balance of spicy karam and aromatic fenugreek powder is added. Finally, a traditional tadka of mustard seeds and hing gives the tokku its authentic, irresistible taste.
